unable to export to DV tape

Every time I try to export a finished project to DV premiere
locks up. Im using V.6 on a high spec system with a pinacle dv500 board. The programs goes through the rendering process
but then just sits there. the instant video status bar goes green in the middle but stays red at each end. It used to work ok with DV I think I may have got a setting wrong somewhere. Anybody had similar greif ?

I had the same problem (exporting to DV tape) but my Pinnacle card is not in the top slot of my workstation as they recommend. So I exported to analog (super-VHS) tape and that worked fine. Still intend to move the card around.
