Hi!
We have 3 tapes that is listed in Media and Device Man. But they are not listed in the medialist. I have tried bpexpdate on this media, and it says that the media is not found on the host. I have tried it on all of our mediaservers with the same result.

Thanks for any help

Hi!

Try this Vmquery –deassignbyid MediaID –poolnumber <status>
You can find more info and how to get poolnumer if you search on Vmquery on support.veritas.com

That worked fine it solved our problem.

Thanks

A small note - If you type vmquery -m MEDAID (where MEDIAID is the name of your tape) You can see the "pool number" and "status"
