I work in an office in one city, a co worker works in another.

i have a folder in outlook i need to get to him. i export it to my desktop, and then attach it to an email and send it to him.

One problem...outlook blocks the file when he gets my email. Outlook blocks it's own PST file? Weird.

I tried zipping the file, same problem, he cant open it.

I need to get him this file so he can import it into his own outlook. Why is this so hard? Burning to a CD and mailing it to him is not an option, this needs to be done asap.

I assume you guys know how, care to share? :)

Hi, Hubiebrown

Yeah, .pst files are on the **** list.
I usually just rename the file to *.xyz, send it and get them to rename it back at their end.

Other possibilities are encryption and alternative archive file formats.

Jock, i just exported it as blahblah.xyz, and tried to attach it to an email and it wouldnt. "The operation failed".

Can you give me specific instructions here? My files do not have extensions on them. For example, when I save it as a pst file, it shows up on my desktop as "blahblah", not "blahblah.pst

nevermind, i figured it out:)
