We setup 4 digit dialing to our Mexico site for CA. As of last Thurs we are unable to dial. We get a busy signal.

Here is a printout of what we setup.
We setup route 44 and 13 to dial out and to let them call us.

What could be wrong?

What kind of 4 digit dialing?

CDP or ACOD???

More then likely there is a problem with your RLB in LD 86.

DEo a PRT DNB of 1 of the number's and see where it sends you.

We are using CDP.

Can't do a print on the DNB because we really don't have one for those line. We use Digital munipulation.

Verify that your RLB's are using the correct DMI. You issues are going to be some where in LD 86 most likely.

here is the CDP:

The difficult part about all this is, I don't have access to our Mexico plant. They have been complaining about dead air while on a call or dead air. I think maybe there phone person or vendor made some type of change, but I don't know what it is since they are convinced that everything on their end is ok.

I also checked and we are using the correct DMI.

The first choice previously entered for 4-digit dialing just sends the call across the route/span. It hits Mexico's PBX and outpulses the 4 digits. The second choice redirects the call over public transport by inserting the full number, much like dialing direct. The DMI for the second choice should look like, "delete 0; insert international country code - city code - exchange".

Everything looks fine, can't pinpoint the problem.

ld 60 stat 13 ? not usually a software change unless someone was adding dsc's.. if the pri is up and the d is estb, then have someone on site dial the acod plus a working dn on the far end..
