Unable to dial own extension and Voicemail button not working

Voicemail button not working on Dterm Series E (Neax 2000 IVS).

It was probably a personal speed dial that got changed or deleted.
With the phone idle, press CNF, Press the button, dial your VM pilot number, press CNF to save it.

I tried the following:
Press CNF, Press the Voice Mail button, dial VM Pilot number, press CNF. Nothing

Any ideas?

If you can dial the VM pilot manually, then it is not a numbering plan issue. The button on that phone may not be programmed for speed dial, or that phone may not be programmed with speed dial memory allocated.
If you are familiar with programming on the system, then the button assignment is CMD 9000>ext , LK>F1100 - F1199. Memory allocation is tricky because you can easily overlap memory between extensions. This is probably best left for a trained technician.
EX: assign SPD mem to EXT 1000 + allow LK 4 to be SPD button
CMD 73>1000>000002 = 20 SPD buffers
CMD 9000>1000,04>F1104 = Line key 4 from memory block 0000 is set for SPD use.
