Unable to Delete in outlook.

When trying to delete in outlook98 or 2000 the window comes up as if it is deleting (i.e the trash can being filled with trash)But nothing happens you can't cancel and the files aren't being deleted and it doesn't matter if you have 2 emails or 40 emails. The only way to stop it is by hitting ctrl + alt + Delete.

Please help it's happening all over the agency and i want to no why?

Are these mailboxes being shared? And if so, is it the share user trying to delete?

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm starting to see that its on one specific server. Once I moved a user to a different server, the problem went away.

In my case, the mailboxes don't belong to an actual user. They belong to processes. The two examples are webmaster and postmaster. Multiple people access both of these boxes.
