Unable to delete emails from users inbox

I am running 5.5 and one of my users is unable to delete or move certain emails from her pst file. I ran the inbox repair tool and this made no difference. The error message is
"An item could not be deleted. Th action could not be completed"
and
"An item could not be moved. Th action could not be completed"

any ideas, it only happens on some emails not all and they are all from different sources !!
