unable to delete Avaya ANALOG extension from ASA/CM

Hi there ,

I have been trying to switch from an Analog station to a DIG one , I couldn't switch easily the port . So I've decided to delete the station but I couldn't do that either . So I've tried to busy it out than remove it. which it worked. But still I couldn't assign the new DIG port. May anyone help!

You should see an error message on the screen to indicate what the issue is. Did you change the phone type? What phone model are you trying to use?

The error message was : object in use.
I'm working with 2420 AVAYA DIG phones . Actually, I've processed that way and it worked :
1.I've put the Analog extension on busy then
2. I ve deleted the Analog extension (it worked)
3.After , I've created the same extension with the new digital port. But the phone still wasn't working ,at that point.
4.I've tried to release the extension and here it worked
