I have just installed AdobeAcrobat 5 on my server. I have not used the software before, i was advised to buy it because we need to cvonvert word documents to pdf files for website.
I have installed and found the "printers" for distiller and writer on the printers list. I shared them and gave correct permissions. However, when I go to word on my PC and print to writer I get error message from printer saying:
Windows cannot print due to problem with the printer set up.
Check printer with test page
make sure it is on and online
reinstall driver.
When I try to print to distiller I get error message from the printer queue: printing errors occurred.
Is there some sort of procedure in the set up that I have missed out. I was under the impression that when I select print it would ask for a filename and location to print the doc to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
