Unable to create an mde database

Hi,
I have access 2000. I have splittered the database using database splitter and then I tried to create an mde database. WHen I use the database utilites- 'Make and MDE file' it gives error. "Unable to create an MDE database".

Anyone have any idea on how to fix it?

Usually it gives some reason why an .mde cannot be created. There are many reasons why this may fail and could be as simple as the file is open and/or you are trying to write to the same file, the file is read-only, the file cannot be written to the disk etc, etc. Hard to say without more info. Have fun! )

May have compile errors. Try going to a code window and choosing Debug, then compile. But as Alex said, it will normally give a reason.
