Unable to copy table to diff database

I am trying to copy a table from one database to another (same table name) I am an error that it cannot use, the file is already in use - I can do this in some databases but not all.

Any idea? thanks!!!

Hello:

That would seem to indicate that the database is open somewhere else on your network or computer. Are you importing or dragging the the table to a new database?

its definately not open anywhere else - I am right clicking and selecting copy - then going to the new database, right clicking and selecting paste - I can do this in other databases ??

Hello:

Try Importing the table to your new database. Select File Get External Data.

If the above works, you may have a corrupt database container.

Thanks!!! I will try both tomorrow - maybe I should try to compact/repair first. I just created this database today and linked some tables -
