I am able to connect to my server, but unable to surf the web. Does anybody have any ideas of what can be going wrong. Also my TCP/IP setting are correct. And it's on a Windows 2000 Prof. machine.

Are you going through a proxy server or is it a direct connection, and do you have the correct settings for this? TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS - CONNECTIONS joegz

Have you talked to your ISP tech support? It could be their problem. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing....." [morning]

often, if you are connected and unable to surf the net, it is a problem with DNS servers or settings. As nobrain points out, it could be the ISP's servers at fault. Check with them also.

What specific symptoms do you see when trying to surf?
