Hi,
a bit of a strange one. A number of our SQL server clients have been put on to a wireless network, since this has happenned 2 out of 3 administrators are unable to connect to the client servers via Enterprise Manager.
further info:
We can ping the clients by both device name and IP.
The 2 admin PC's that are unable to connect - one is win2000, other XP.
The 3rd administrator who can connect has the same XP and SQL server installation(as far as I can tell) as the other XP administrator.
The wireless adaptors ahve the same IP and subnet mask as the old wired ethernet connection.
Basically the only difference is that the clients now have a network card and are enabled for wireless.
Has anyone any ideas?
TIA. David.
