Unable to connect to report with Access DB

I am having difficulty connecting to my access DB where my parameter query resides. I am using the RDC component. I have a crViewer witting in a form. I am trying to use the logonserver method from the crystal report object and i think the problem is in my parameters that I am passing. i am using crystalobject.logonserver("psodbc.dll", servername, etc. The Access DB is sitting on a network folder. there is no username or password. i guess I am looking for an example of the logonserver using odbc. i am confused about what the servname is.
