I have got a pc at a remote site that will not connect to my network. There are two other pc's at the site which are all connected with no problems. The connection is via VPN over an ADSL link. The oc is running NT4 workstation sp6a
When I try to log on the pc, I get the error message:
Checking network Protocol connections....
TCP/IP CP reported error 736
The Remote computer terminated the control protocol.

It was working fine until i installed MS Project 98 then it stopped working. I have reinstalled SP6a and IE 6 sp1. I have also disabled the firewall to see if this was the issue but nothing helps. I have checked the dial up settings and tcp/ip settings and everything is correct.
I am now at a loss as to what to try next. Internet connection is also OK it si just when I try to connect to my network.
Any clues?!!!

any help greatly appreciated

The problem was solved by rebooting all the pc's and the router on the remote network.
