I have 1 laptop running Vista Business that is unable to connect to the exchange server outside of the office. It connects fine in the office but doesn't connect outside have tried disabling all firewalls, reinstalling outlook. I have several other users on XP and Vista all are able to connect. Any advise is appreciated.

I'm trying to connect RPC-over-HTTP works via VPN and in the office.

Probably because you are using the internal name of the servername. Setting this up can be tricky, but you need to use the external server name of the server when you configure RPC-over-HTTPS. The reason that it only works internally is because that's when you have internal name resolution.
