I currently have several users that need to access a suppliers network using citrix,

They are using client version 6.30.1050 on windows 2000 machines and have firwall client software loaded on their machines

On the client side, the default network protocol is set to TCP + HTTP (I have also tested it with HTTP +HTTPS) and the firwall settings are set to direct connection (again i have tested it on all the different options)

On the Firewall side I have opended port 1494 outbound, 3389 inbound (both TCP) and UDP send receive on port 1694

Each time the user tries to connect it comes up saying "unable to connect to citrix server I/O error"

I'm sure its a problem on the firewall, but i just can't find out what

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

how is your network set up? does the citrix box have an external ip, or is the isa server forwarding the requests? have you also tried just plain TCPIP?

Sorry not sure if I made it clear,

The users behind my firewall want to connect to a citrix box on a suppliers network,
The problem is that my firewall is blocking the request for some reason

ahh, sorry, misread :)

in which case im probably going to be useless as i dont run isa ;)

have you tried connecting to the other company outside of the isa server?
you could also ask them to provide an .ica file (shouldnt be a problem if they have decent admins there) which will provide all the important settings for you (then you have a simple double click to connect file)

and maybe even ask if they have nfuse?
