Hello,

Yes, I'm going nuts too with this problem. I have a similar problem as with thread782-1270193. I had our DBA grant "ProcessAdmin" access to the DB, and still didn't resolve the issue. As it is now, the account being used not only has "ProcessAdmin" but sysadmin, which has access to everything.

Please note that I have a subreport. If subreport is removed, there is no problem. Looks like the logon parameters for some reason is not being correctly passed to the subreport. Tried different things already and still have not been successful.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Sub-reports can connect to any available datasource - not just the same one as the main report. Based on your description, it would appear thatyou don't have rights under that login ID to the datasource for that subreport.

Is the subreport connecting to the same database on the same server as the main reports...?

You can see the database connections for both the main and sub-reports if you open the Crystal RPT file in the desktop Crystal tool and check under the menu DATABASE -> "Set Datasource Location"

Thanks. Yes, the subreport is connecting to the same database on the same server as the main report.

Does the sub-report connect to a different Table, View or Stored Procedure on that database...?

Doe the user you are using to connect to the database have access to the Table, View or Stored Procedure that is used in the sub-report...?
