Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters. File C:\Program Files\

Hi

I am deploying CE to a new server with the accompanying setup, migration & HEADACHES!!!

I am currently testing reports published to CE, but I am now encountering the following error "Unable to connect: incorrect log on parameters. File C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 10\Data\procSched\crystal.reportjobserver\~tmp10b03a068dca3c0.rpt."

The report points at an Excel spreadsheet located in a network file. The spreadsheet does NOT have any logon requirements, and the ODBC connection have been set up to mirror the old CE server (which can still access the spreadsheet!!!). I have recreated everything as is on the old server, on the new server...but still the *£"%%$& error.

Any ideas why one system will be able to access an excel s/sheet, and another exact replica cannot?

Sounds like the user account for the new CE server doesn't have permission to access the spreadsheet, or they used explicit drive mappings (as opposed to the more appropriate UNC) and they differ on the new CE server.

It was a combination of domain accounts for the Page, Prog Job and Report Job services, and the UNC ODBC mapping.
