Unable to close an Opportunity

Hi;

When I want to close an Opportunity, (Action > Close Opportunity), the system tells me I don't have the proper rights to do that.

As, I'm seeting the user security roles for my users, I don't know which specific role allows that.

Any ideas?

The trick to security to roles is to add a second role from one of the standard roles that comes with the system. Assuming the problem is now fixed you can then determine what is different between your custom role and the standard one.

Also on the same subject. You could try give your role total access to quotes and see if the problem is still there. For many operations with opportunities you also need access to quotes.
