I am having some problems with two new PRI's. On a previous thread I had problems calling in. I am able to call in no problem now but i cannot call out. Dch messaging is telling me this:
DCH 72 UIPE_OMSG CC_SETUP_REQ REF 00000028 CH 72 23 TOD 15:59:00 CK B6F72994
PROGRESS: ORIGINATING END IS NOT ISDN
CALLING #:8653366802 NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL
CALLED #:4149001 NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL

DCH 72 UIPE_IMSG CC_REJECT_IND REF 00000028 CH 72 23 TOD 15:59:02 CK B6F72AD7
CAUSE: #28 - INVALID NUMBER FORMAT

Calls on my working PRI come through as this:
DCH 13 OMSG REL COMP REF 00000015 CH 13 21 TOD 16:00:44

DCH 13 OMSG SETUP REF 00000015 CH 13 21 TOD 16:00:46
CALLING #:3366271 NUM PLAN: E164/SUBSCRIBER (NXX)/LOCL
CALLED #:2153655 NUM PLAN: E164/SUBSCRIBER (NXX)/LOCL

DCH 13 OMSG DISC REF 00009AF0 CH 13 1 TOD 16:00:46

So are these circuits replacing your existing or in addition to what you have? It would help if you dialed the same number from the same phone and hit the different PRI's and see what the outcome is. As you can clearly see one call type is National and the other is Local.

I had the same issue where calls leaving a pri were being rejected due to the Numbering plan. Had the vendor/PRI provider chnge the number plan option and calls finally were sent out.

These circuits will be replacing my current DID's The new circuits are on a sonnet ring. AT&T is saying that the outbound calling is controlled by my switch but then said make sure we are set up National, ISDN, and 10 Digit. Does anyone know how i can change these things. Looks like i am showing national and 10 digit but not ISDN. Thanks for all the help.

How bout you post your DCH, route and trunk config so we can take a look?

In the RDB set the PNI to 1 and in the DCH get rid of the RLS. Not sure how or why you have 36 in there. When you build the DCH you should have returned past that prompt and when you print it out it should show ** in the RLS. I'm not sure this will cure your problem but lets start there.

Here's a print out from one of my switches, I do have the RLS 36 in there and PNI set to 0. My DSEL is set to 3VCE however instead of VOD.

When you are trying to make this call are you dialing the ACOD to the new route or are you accessing it through BARS? I don't know what the difference is but I had a cut over once and was using the ACOD. Couldn't make the call. But when I made the call through BARS it worked fine. Just a thought.

as far as in the net_data i have a few different settings:
PFX1 865
PFX2 336
TRNX yes
EXTT yes

Is there a way to strip off the 865 on outgoing calls? Att is saying they are looking for 7 not 10.

i have tried the call both ways. A couple of weeks ago it worked using the acod. Att insists they didnt change anything and i dont recall changing anything.

Is the user dialing 10 or are they dialing 7? If they are dialing 10 then yes, you can strip off the 865 with a DMI table.

even when i dial 7 digits something adds the 865 on for some reason. D-channel messaging is saying originating end is not isdn. Do you know how i make it be ISDN? Once again thanks for your time on this.

I have seen that message "originating end is not ISDN" But the call still goes through. If you are dialing 7 and the C.O. is seeing 10 then there is a DMI table adding it. Print an NXX in LD 90, see what RLI it is pointing to, then print the RLI in ld 86 and see if it references a DMI table. If it does then print the DMI table in LD 86.
