I have a client experiencing a problem when they try to browse the network through Network Places. The network is a Windows 2000 domain with 3 domain controllers (DC1 DC2 and Admin Station)and several member servers. When they select Entire Network and the icon for the Domain appears, they select the Domain icon and they receive an error that states "No more connection can be made to this remote computerat this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept." This is happening to machines on a specific segment. Machines on the other have no problems. I have no unlicensed usage in License Manager. I have not found any shares that have set limits to them, they are all set for Maximum. The client machines are all XP Pro machines.

I am fixing to pull my hair out! I know that there are others experiencing this, please respond with any and all ideas and fixes.

Thanks,

Chris

I have already found that document and have found that it does not apply. None of the users are connecting to other users workstations. All printers are shared from the server and shared files are hosted by a file server.

I have also set the autodisconnect setting by running the Net Server Config utility to 1 minute...It didn't help.
