Hi people,
I have a windows 2000 server with Windows XP clients. and few win 2000 clients and winNT 4.0 clients.
From windows XP clients I am not able to browse the Active directory users.. when ever i try to add a global user ( domain user ) to a local admin group I get an error saying that
"the program cannot open the required dialogue boxbecause no locations can be found. Close this message and try again"
When I click OK i get another pop-up saying
" Unable to display the user selection dialogue
Parameter is incorrect"
This happens when
. I try to change permissions of a file/folder on the server from a xp workstation
. When I try to add domain user to a local group
I am able to browse the domain users from other machines except the win xp machines.
please someone , help.
