Unable to boot - BOOTMGR image is corrupt

When I turn on my Windows 8.1 (32 bit) laptop I am getting this message
BOOTMGR image is corrupt. system cannot boot.
I don't have a recovery CD.

I removed the hard disk to and connected to another laptop (windows vista). I could access the hard disk and files.
But when I insert the hard disk back into Win 8.1 laptop, I am getting the error message and unable to boot.

Does anyone konw how to fix this error and boot win 8.1

I guess you need to have someone create a Windows 8 or 8.1 recovery DVD from their WORKING machine. Then you can boot that DVD and follow the following: Link
