Unable to Backup NT Client

Hi,

I am running ARCserve 7.0 with a lot of patches on a Netware 4.11 server. I am trying to backup a Windows NT 4.0 server, I installed the ARCserve 7.0 Universal Client Edition for Windows NT/2000 on the NT machine. Because the Netware server is running IPX, I installed the IPX stuff on the NT 4.0 server and I can see everything fine in the ARCserve Manager. I schedule a backup, and it backups the Netware Server locally with no problem. However, when it gets to the NT machine I get the following message "E0015 Job 26: Backup Operation Failed." But that's it. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, please tell me.

You will need to check the activity log for related messages and then the event viewer logs for the NT server to see if there are any clues there.

Based on what you have posted to me it will likely be a permission problem, so check what user account the universal agent is set to use on the NT server.

Let us know what you find.
