Hello,

We're getting an error that is actually generated by the YourPay API payment gateway. Somewhere there is a hiccup between Miva Merchant and YourPay and YourPay does not like that order number the store is generating. We've tried purchasing a module that would allow us to reset the order numbers and it still didn't solve the problem. Has anyone seen this before?

Thank you.

I've never heard of YourPay, and didn't know they were supported in MM. From the YourPay documentation, do they indicate that the error message means the order number must be unique FOR THEM, or only for your store?

With the CSI Linkpoint interface, a gargantuan order number is created that uses the IP address and date (among other things) to create a pretty-much-universal order number. This order number does not match up with the one in Miva Merchant, but instead is generated for the benefit of the gateway.

Perhaps a technique like that would do the trick?

Thanks for the response!

I think that YourPay is the same as the LinkPoint API....just a different name. According to the YourPay docs they require a unique order number to protect against fraud.

Strangest thing though - we purchased a Reset Order Number module from mvcool.com and installed it - problem still occurred - then uninstalled it and the store order numbers reset starting at 5 and everything is working.

I dunno - just glad it's working now!!
