Running BE 9.0 on W2K server backing up Sun Solaris 8 server. We get the following error:
Unable to attach to SASPCP07/root.
Unable to attach to SASPCP07/root.
We stopped and started the backup agent on the Sun Solaris server. The backups then ran properly once. The next time backups ran, the above error occured again. As long as we manually stop and start the agent every day, the nightly backups run correctly. Any ideas why we have to keep stopping and starting the agent?

Application cannot get the CPU idle time - its the silent time of the server to be backup,

adjust the veritas silent time on regedit. I just forget the root, but you can find more on veritas forum.

Or

The remote agent was not started.
