4 identical Citrix XP FR3 Windows 2003 SP4 servers in a single farm with users connecting to a published desktop. Recently on each server, we will start getting error 2020 - "The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty".
Users cannot log on. Downing and restarting the server resolves the problem which then may not occur for a few days or even a week, then it will seem to hit 2-3 of the servers within the same day or over a period of days.
I did all the research on memory leaks, set up and reviewed performance monitors in detail. But nothing appears obvious.
My original assumption was a memory leak, however the servers reboot each night (2-4am) and the problem seems to happen much more in the morning than in the afternoon. If it was a memory leak, I would think to have more problems later in the day than first thing in the morning.
It can't be hardware since this happens on all 4 servers. But I don't know what else to look at.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
