Here is the scenario...I added to disk to my aggregate on where volume is stored. The volume was nearting 98% capacity. I added two disk to aggregate and then i proceeded to add space to the volume but this is the error i get...
" java.IOException: Failure resizing volume rela_efp: Selected volume size is too small to hold the current volume data"

can some body tell what i must do to fix this...

do the operation on command line with command "vol size <volumename> <newsize_of_volume>"
e.g. vol size testvol 200g

First check what the current capacity is of the volume with the command "df". The new size should be large enough to contain all data currently in the volume.

vol size <newsize> if you want a specific size. or vol size +xGB to add x gigabytes to the current volume size.
