I have a 3870 layer 3 switch with 3 Vlans. Everything is working ok with exception: I am unable to add one static route.

My routing table looks like this:
[tt]
Destination Subnet Mask Metric Gateway Status State
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Default Route -- -- 185.13.137.253 static valid
10.192.0.0 255.255.0.0 1 185.13.137.253 static valid
10.192.23.0 255.255.255.0 1 185.13.137.252 static valid
10.192.24.0 255.255.255.0 1 -- local valid
10.192.25.0 255.255.255.0 1 185.13.137.252 static valid
10.192.26.0 255.255.255.0 1 185.13.137.252 static valid
185.13.137.0 255.255.255.0 1 -- local valid
185.13.138.0 255.255.255.0 1 -- local valid
185.13.169.0 255.255.255.0 1 185.13.137.252 static valid
[/tt]
185.13.137.254 is VLAN1, 185.13.138.254 is VLAN2 and 10.192.24.0 is VLAN3.

Now I try to add 185.13.128.0 mask 255.255.128.0 gateway 185.13.137.253 (then I want to change DG to 185.13.137.252) but router says that it failed to add this route. I was reseting the switch and firmware is 3.00.

Has anyone idea what's wrong?

I think I know what is wrong. It is a not a true Layer3 switch. It can route packets but only between VLANs. I have to move my router to diferrent subnets.
