Unable to add bluetooth

I have all the Bluetooth settings turned on on my Vista laptop. On my blackberry, it's discovery is set to Yes. When I go to Add a Bluetooth Device, nothing is listed. When I go on my phone to Search, it sees my laptop, I enter the code, a message shows on my laptop "A bluetooth device is requesting to connect to your computer. To allow this connection, click on this message." I click on it, then nothing happens.

If they see each other, why aren't they connecting and why isn't my laptop "seeing" my blackberry?
