Unable to Access Server thru VPN

Hi,

I have a Domino 7 Server running on Windows Server 2003 (R2). Users when travelling to remote sites will access this server through VPN for their email. However, ever since I upgraded to R2, users are no longer able to ping this Server and access the Domino Server. Is there any security settings in R2 that prohibits/restricts remote access? It was working fine before I upgrade the Server. No settings have been changed.

Appreciate if you guys can give me some ideas.

Although you say you cannot ping the server name, can you ping it by the IP Address?

I had requested my remote user to try both out. All failed with "Request timed out" error.
