Having lost (deleted!!) the only two admin groups from the address book, I shut down the server and opened the address book locally, thanks to the suggestions of dhayse, trying both the server.id and my own id. The server id doesn't even allow names.nsf to open and I am still restricted by not be able to add people to groups to the ACL or the database.
Any suggestions would really help

Thanks
T

Try logging into your main server/hub with a server id. As long as this is in the ACL it should allow you access and be able to re-add yourself to the group or create new groups. Lamaar75@hotmail.com

Have tried using the server.id on the notes client on server. It says "You are not authorized to access that database" even though it appears as ns/head office with manager access and all roles tick, on the ACL of the NAB. I have tried various combinations from the server from a networked client.
How do you create administrators at the beginning of the environment setup. Surely I can just redo this.

Thanks for your time lamaar

I know you have tried this before but this should work

- Shutdown the server and open the PAB on notes client on server machine.
- For opening the database, DON'T use the server.id or cert.id files; use id file of any user.
- Add yours or your collegue's name as manager with all roles and close the client. Restart the server
- Access PAB from your PC. You can do anything in PAB now, as you are the manager

What error mesasge do you get why you try to use your ID? Lamaar75@hotmail.com
