Someone is gonna say "this post don't belong here" but there is no FTP forum in this website, I know, I checked.
Anyway, as XP's IIS 5.0 FTP server doesn't have the capabilities of multiple servers and/or multiple user names associated with their own folders on their own ports, I use 3rd party FTP server software, but the problem is nobody can access it from the internet, I already own a domain name, and setup the dns record to point to my public ip address (my on my local server works fine) then allowed ports 6021 to 6030 access through the router, then setup the 3rd party server to use port 6021, and allowed download permissions on the server, I have placed a blank, test text file in the folder for the server, if someone could test it for me and post a reply to what they see, I would be grateful, the server address is ftp://tezandbabs.us:6021
I can't test it locally as I use nat, and my wan ip address stops at the router, then from the router to the pc, it uses a LAN address, and if I enter the wan ip address in to IE, I get the router config page.
I can test it if I use the hosts file, but that isn't a true test.
