I have a boiler-plate bulletin that I've been using for several years that suddenly is unable to access any fonts except about a dozen standards such as Arial, Times New Roman, Courier New, etc. All of my special/decorative fonts are still available in new documents, it's just this old template that they can't be found. Special fonts that are already in the document still display, but they can't be found on the font tool bar. Don't want to rebuild the document, but I guess I will if I have to. Haven't installed any new fonts lately, but I tried deleting a few that I don't use with no results. Any ideas what might have happened?

Was it made with a website template? That can cause you not to be able to use "fancy" fonts.

Try selecting everthing in that template and pasting it into a new blank template. Does that change anything?

Copying and pasting everything into a new document seems to have fixed the problem. That's a head scratcher...oh well, as long as it's working, consider it solved. Have a star![thumbsup2]

I suspect it was acting as a website template. The good thing is that the issue is resolved. :)
