NO
We've just resized the system partition on
a RAID 5, and ran into problems starting up afterwards.
"Error loading operating system" .
We now want to boot from the emergency disk created by the resizing tool (volume manager 2.0), but the floppy obviously ain't in the boot up sequence..
and we have no luck accessing the BIOS by pressing f10.
How to access BIOS????

i thought on a 530 - you pressed f9

but smartstart will do it

On an ML530, it's definately F10 but I guess if it doesn't give you the option, the resize tool has screwed it up. This should not affect booting from the floppy as it should still be the first in the bootup sequence unless you have changed it yourself?

As already mentioned, you will most likely have to boot off the SmartStart CD if you still cannot boot off the floppy.
