Hi, I'm unable to burn anything to my CD R/RW. I upgraded my OS to WinXP Pro but all the hardware stayed the same.

I've downloaded and installed the upgrade/flash rom and this hasn't helped.

I've tried using Nero 5.5 and also the built in function within WinXP and neither work.

Any advise? Tezdread

Nero 5.5 requires the latest updates available from the web site to function with XP. Nero may have disabled Window's built in burning capability, try the Nero updates and see what happens. Help us to help you, please post back and tell us if this helped.

If your using Easy CD Creator 5 or lower form Roxio then you'll need to download a patch for WinXP. Otherwise it won't work.
