UN-updatable Data

I want to create an UPDATEABLE data sheet which includes data from 1 TABLE and 1 query (linked via ID_XY).

TABLE_X includes ID_XY, Input1 and Input2

QUERY_Y includes ID_XY, SumOfA and SumOfB (the table source of QUERY_Y is not TABLE_X)

I can do this record by record easily (via a form and subform), but I would just like to go down column Input1 and Input2 to enter my information whilst visually seeing SumOfA and SumOfB alongside.

Anyone know how this can be done?

Why not create a continuous form of TableX and add two unbound text boxes on the form to show the sums? Am I missing something?

Hmmmm...Sounds like a good plan, however, I already have a continuous form for TableX. Using Unbound Text Boxes, how do I show the SUM of certain variables which belong to a completely different table which has a ONE to MANY relationship with TableX but are commonly identified by ID_XY.
