Hello, a few months ago I bought a new computer with a Japanese WIndows OS on it. It had 230GB on it, and when I changed it to English OS, which was right away, It partitioned in a wierd way as there was no Japanese OS, which I didn't want a Japanese OS anyway, but now there is only 127GB, and only one OS.

How do I get the other 100GB back without losing data? It just acts as if it isn't even there.

I have windows Xp professional 2001 Service Pack 2 so I don;t think thats the problem.

Is that a metric hard drive....????

sorry I could not resist.

I dont know what you mean but at first it had 230 GB (250GB converted to decimal thingy) And then I installed English windows Xp, got rid of japanese one, and voila! 127GB.

I DO HAVE SERVICE PACK 2!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that is not the problem.
