Un-installor Remove Maintenance Release on 6.5 or Patches

Hi,

I'm still green when it comes to SGI and IRIX, I was
wondering if someone could briefly outline what it takes
to un-install a Maintenance release?

I recently installed Release 14 on top of Release10, and it has made part of an application even worse now. Is there a way of back-tracking out of it?? I know that in Tru64, patches are reversible. (Tho' I have yet to try it)
