UMS Web Voicemail won't play WAV

So I'm on trial UMS license that allows 10 users. the IMAP portion works just fine, and the Web Voicemail works for logging in and seeing your message. You can even play it through the phone, but for some reason when you try to play the voicemail with the windows media player it just stops as soon as you hit play. This happens on the voicemail server itself as well as other machines in the office. Any ideas?
 
go to voicemail pro web voicemail folder. open the xml doc and change the name of the server to it's ip address.
 
I already tried putting in the servers IP address in the xml doc which didn't help. Would I need to restart the server? I only restarted iis.

The web browser I'm using is IE7.
 
Did you upgrade to 4.2 or was it a fresh installation? I had the same problem after an "upgrade". The fix was to backup the mdb and uninstall Voicemail Pro, reboot, then do a fresh install and reimport the mdb. I even had Avaya look at it ... they couldn't fix it. Reinstall.

It was an upgrade, but I already did a complete reinstall of voicemail pro.. did you have to delete your directory for it to work? Does it matter if Voicemail Pro is on a D: partition? Thanks for your info. The only part I didn't do was reboot before reinstalling.. so maybe that's the trick.
