Hi, I am having a problem installing a Umax Astra 2000u scanner. The problem is that when I try to install the software I get an error saying there was an error copying a cp01 file from the path "D:\VistaScan\Profiles\Engine\cp01" Everything else seems to install fine but when I try to scan the software says it cannot communicate with the scanner. It is connected via USB so I went into Device Manager and it shows that it is there and working right. I tried buying a new install disc to make sure the old one was not corrupted. No good. I also tried a patch from Dell (I'm installing this on a Dell PC) that was suppose to fix issues with Umax scanners. No good either. I tried installing this on a Windows 98SE PC too but the same thing happened! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
