UM8000 giving Duplicate Extension Error when Adding an Extension

Dear Colleagues,

May you please assist with the error I am having on UM8000.
The user of the extension had forgotten his password for the Voice Mail.
I then deleted the VM box and then wanted to add it, but I continuously get this error of Duplicate extension number or username.
Was it the thing to delete VM box?

You could have just deleted the security code. Now you need to search for any mailboxes and transaction boxes that are already assigned that number. A VM reset may also be in order.

Look at the numbering plan as well the internal modem for the UM8000 may match the PBX numbering plan this will stop you from adding mail boxes
