UltraWebGrid ambiguous in the namespace

We use the UltraWebGrid, and have a few projects on the server under version 8. I just upgraded a project and started using verion 9.
All went well until I tried to copy my project up onto the server.

I get this message.
UltraWebGrid ambiguous in the namespace 'Infragistics.WebUI.UltraWebGrid'

When I remove my version 8references in the bin folder on the server, the project does not run at all and I get a different error.

I don't want to have to go into every project and update the grid. How can I fix this?

Yes Jason, and they were no help.

It is not possible to have 2 different versions of the grid in the same project was their answer.


So I completely removed the entire site and replaced it with all of the new files and a new config, and the problem went away. My copy was working.
I must have had a last version dll in there somewhere.

So if you're going to upgrade to a new version of an Infragistics product, you must do the entire project.
They reuse the namespace and don't create a new one.

We were lucky. I only had the grid on 3 forums.
