I am getting the below errors on an Ultra-5 workstation. I am assuming that this is a bad block on the disk. I have been able to correct this type of problem on SCSI workstations using the repair utility within format. This system displays an error "controller does not support repairing or disk supports automatic defect management" when using repair. Does the repair utility work on IDE disks? What are my options?
