Hi,

I have an ultra 10 running for a couple of years. I could not boot it up now. When I boot it up, it gives the following error:

can not load drv/options
can not load the root filesystem
type 'go' to..
ok>

after I typed in 'go', there was a 'panic' notice flushed to the screen and reloop to boot again.

I tried to boot cdrom -s, but got device can not be open

Thanks for any help in advance,

Sounds like your root is out of order

Could try boot -r

or

if you know your disk is on c1t0d0s0
1) boot cdrom -s
2) mount /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s0 /a (Mount the root disk)
fsck -y /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s0
3) reboot
