I was looking at the MS comparison chart between all the Vista versions. They only compare Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, and Ultimate.

How does Enterprise fit in featuture wise vs. Ultimate. I assume it has more features than Business, but does it have everything Ultimate has?

That, and you Really need more than 2 gig memory and graphic cards that haven't been invented yet. I'm waiting a year until Uncle Bill works out the bugs they didn't find over the past few years developing this monster.

All conjecture I'm afraid.

A system with 1GB of RAM and a mid-end graphics card will run Vista perfectly - even my mobile graphics card (ATI Radeon Mobility X1300).

I wish people would stop saying "OMG Vista is such a resource hog!11!!" without actually reading respected reviews or trying it themselves.

I run Vista Ultimate on a laptop with 1.5 GB RAM and a ATI Mobility Radeon 9000. Vista runs fine, however you don't get the bells and whistles. This is all due to the graphics card. For example, media center will not work, neither will Aero Glass (and all the neat features that it will do). This is due to the fact that my graphics card does not support Pixel Shader 2.0.

If I were you I would download the vista upgrade advisor and see which one MS recommends for your setup, then you can decide if you want to upgrade your components to move up to the next level (or if you're already at the top).

Here's a link for the upgrade advisor

I assume the Radeon 9000 is the generation before the X1300? Because mine runs Vista with all the "bells and whistles" on, including Media Centre and Aero Glass.

Paul hasnt mentioned all the benefits for Enterprise over Business

There are actually four areas:
Bitlocker Full Volume Encyption
The ability to run Multilingual User Interface
License rights to Four Virtual Operating systems within Vista and
Subsystem for Unix based applications

Enterprise is only avalaible for SA customers.

Business and Enterprise can be activated via KMS, Ultimate is activated directly.
