coundt find where would be the best place to post this.. so here goes..:
when uploading multiple files the connection seems to slow right down and pretty much time out..
If I send one huge file its happy, and if I send a couple of small ones its okay, but one jobwere doing means we have to send 20 or 30 2kb files and it just wont do it. One batch file we have will make it retry a few times, but this results in what should be a couple of mins update taking up to an hour!
Tried it on a number of servers and the same thing happens.
Tried it connection to our internal ftp server and it was fine..
so Im guessing its something do with the ISP connection
we are on broadband with a firewall managed by our ISP
just waiting to hear from them but bloody curious whats going on..
any hints or tips welcomed
ps; tried ws ftp pro and also with basic ftp dos commands in batch - same problem so I know its not the software..
