UK Covid Customer Data storage.
The UK government says that all Pubs/Bars/Restaurants must store their customers data for 21 days so they can track people in the event of an outbreak.
I had a little time on my hands (and i want to get back to going to the pub
) so I created a simple Simphony Extension Application that allows staff to enter customer data on the workstations and it is stored in an encrypted archive on the workstation which can later be exported to a CSV file.
If anyone is interested the code, documentation and DLL's are on my github.
Ive developed it and tested it against 18.2. If you have an older version where it is not working i can easily build it for yours, but it should be fairly backwards compatible to at least 2.8. Let me know if you find any issues.
