Hi!!

Can you create crystal reports if you can't see the tables in UI info of the customized data entry? Also, we can't find some of the tables in UI info. Is there a way to see it?

Dyangman, we are using 5.4A version and our crystal report is 2008. @ tuba, i remember we can't see ARAGE in crystal report but its in UI info. My concern is our supplier is telling us that we will not be able to see the tables of a customized data entry. And they are saying that they can, so they will be the one to create a customized report for the customized data entry which is costly for us. Is it true that we will not see the tables? Thanks..

You should be able to see ARAGED in your database.

ARAGE is a DLL. In version 5.4, it's not a physical table. Your supplier is giving you BS.

How about tables of, lets say CUSTOMIZED AR invoice entry? They havnt installed it yet but they say we will not see it's tables. Is it possible?

The bullshit is getting deeping. Real Accpac Customization does not prevent you from seeing the tables.

If they are customizing your AR Invoice Entry screen and they are adding new fields for you to enter it is possible that they are storing the field data in a different database that you won't have access to without their permission.

So if you run the AR Aged Trial balance report you'll see that the table ARAGED is filled with data but if you need to include the new fields that your customization will add - you might be out of luck depending on what the developer is doing for you.
